The SC Commission for the Blind provides vocational rehabilitation, vision training, orientation and mobility, and assistive technology for SC residents with vision impairments. The SC Assistive Technology Program (SCATP) at USC provides device demonstrations, loans, reutilization, and training for SC residents with all disabilities needing assistive technology — from augmentative communication devices to wheelchair lifts and screen readers.
