Our mission is to provide and exceptional living facility for seniors in a safe, loving and beautiful home. Our focus is on creating a supportive and nurturing environment thus enabling each resident to live more carefree while having an opportunity to engage in meaningful activity.
Founded in the mid-19th century Ludington began as a lumber town and quickly grew to a major Great Lakes shipping port. In 1897 a fleet of railroad car ferries were built to provide access to other ports along Lake Michigan. Today, the S.S. Badger car ferry takes patrons and their vehicles across the lake to Wisconsin for work or leisure.
Being in such close proximity to Lake Michigan, Ludington is home to miles of beautiful beaches. Stearns Park Beach, Buttersville & Summit Park Beaches and Ludington State Park offer playgrounds, picnic areas and swimming. For those who prefer to view the shoreline from above Ludington has 3 lighthouses with spectacular views.
Closer to town visitors and residents will find quaint shops with friendly merchants, delicious restaurants, hometown grocery stores and a local bakery.
Ludington has an abundance of rivers and streams perfect for fishing. The golf courses in the area offer some of the most beautiful landscapes. When the weather turns cooler our art galleries and museums offer plenty of indoor entertainment.
Ludington is full of history, nature and small-town charm making it a perfect place to call home.
Independent Living
Village-Manor independent living is for seniors who are able to live on their own in an apartment or house, but who want the conveniences of living within a community that provides services and amenities such as housekeeping, social activities, dining, transportation, security, or the option of assistance with daily tasks or medical care if they need it.
Assisted Living
Village-Manor assisted living residents will receive all services and amenities of a senior apartment with added support and assistance. We serve each resident with dignity and respect while creating a relationship-rich environment. A nursing assessment will determine personal needs and help develop an individual plan-of-care.
The Village Manor offers home care assistance through our sister branch Village Services. Village Services provides fully insured, dependable, professional, non-medical private care for seniors in the comfort of their own home with dignity, respect and compassion. We tailor a unique plan for each of our clients to meet their individual needs.
