Serving Families and Professional Partners Across Ohio and Beyond

My Family Asset & Care Plan helps families organize care, financial, legal, housing, and decision-making information before urgent decisions arise. Through the Family Financial Snapshot™ and a structured Family Readiness process, MFACP helps families identify what may be missing, clarify who may need to be involved, and prepare for better conversations with attorneys, financial advisors, CPAs, Medicaid professionals, care providers, and other specialists. MFACP also supports professional firms that want families to arrive better prepared, reduce repeated discovery, and improve follow-through after planning recommendations are made. MFACP does not replace professional advice. It helps families become better prepared before they engage it. Clarity before crisis. Readiness before urgency.

Helping Families Prepare Before Crisis Forces Decisions

My Family Asset & Care Plan (MFACP) was created after more than 35 years of working with families facing some of life's most difficult transitions. Over the years, I observed a common pattern. Families rarely lacked information. What they lacked was organization, preparedness, and confidence about what to do next. When a loved one begins needing care, families are often forced to make important financial, legal, housing, and caregiving decisions under pressure. Documents may be incomplete. Family members may disagree. Critical information may be scattered across multiple accounts, institutions, and advisors. MFACP helps bridge the gap between information and action. As your Family Readiness Steward, I work alongside families to organize financial information, identify planning gaps, clarify priorities, and prepare meaningful summaries that can be used with attorneys, financial professionals, care providers, CPAs, insurance specialists, and other experts. Services may include: • Family Financial Snapshot preparation • Asset, income, and account organization • Care planning readiness discussions • Family decision-making support • Professional coordination and introductions • Preparation for legal, financial, and care consultations • Ongoing guidance through major life transitions MFACP does not provide legal, tax, medical, or investment advice. Instead, we help families become prepared, informed, and organized before engaging the professionals who do. In addition to serving families throughout Ohio, MFACP also supports employer-sponsored caregiving initiatives through LTCCareNav's Employer Benefits programs. These consultations are designed to help working caregivers navigate complex care decisions while balancing career, family, and personal responsibilities. Virtual Family Readiness Consultations may be available nationwide through participating employer programs. Our mission is simple: Helping families prepare before crisis forces decisions. Serving Families Across Ohio. Supporting Employer Caregiving Programs Nationwide.
