My father-in-law has reached a stage in life where it was time to begin looking for a mostly independent living environment with a little additional support, while also bringing him closer to family. Because we were unfamiliar with the area and didn't know where to begin, we reached out to Care Patrol of North Tampa Bay for guidance. From the very beginning, Althea was exceptional. "When I say Althea with Care Patrol was an Angel for me at a time when I was soo completely stressed and worried about my dad after he had a stroke, it would be an understatement. I was told about Care Patrol from someone at the VA center while I was there trying to handle my dad’s medical care (he’s a Vietnam Vet) with his case manager, unfortunately for me I didn’t find out about it sooner because this was after 2 months of trying to figure out things for him while he was in rehab. I met with Althea after having a wonderful phone conversation that gave me sooo much hope!! She gave me information and contacts for financial things for my dad and then we went over ALF accommodations. We met again a few days later and she went with me while I toured facilities and tried to digest all of the information while being completely overwhelmed. Thank goodness she was there because it was a comfort that made it sooo much easier!! We did find the perfect place for my dad and then even after he’s been there and getting soo much better every day, Althea still calls to check in on us and see how it’s all going. I will definitely tell anyone in my situation about Care Patrol and how amazing of an organization it is! I recommend 1000%"
